Fairport Garage operate a stringent preventative maintenance program ensuring that, whilst a vehicle is in for 6 weekly inspection all components of the vehicle will be assessed for longevity and marked down on the inspection sheet as to the level of wear.
The Items recorded and any part highlighted by the inspection will be ordered in time for the next six weekly inspection where the component will be replaced on the same visit as the inspection. This process operate effectively with our existing customer base and reduces the frequency a vehicle needs to return to the workshop and subsequent time spent off the road awaiting parts.
Fairport own the latest diagnostic technology provided through our manufacturing partners for both truck and trailers to ensure all faults are diagnosed swiftly, correct parts are ordered using our web based parts system ensuring accuracy and efficiency and fully supported by our suppliers.
If required Fairport Garage can fit genuine OE manufacturer recommended parts. This maintains the quality and reliability of the vehicle, maximises manufacturer parts and improves uptime.

Our breakdown cover will have a dedicated technician, in a fully equipped service vehicle and a wide selection of parts on hand to deal with any incident swiftly, backed by the workshop. With breakdown technicians available 24 hrs a day 365 days a year through Fairport Garage and partner companies, to provide all round cover for truck, trailers, hydraulics, electrical and tyres providing complete coverage and returning vehicles to service a quick as possible.
• All vehicles will be assessed within 15 minutes of arrival.
• Driver defects read and discussed with driver where possible.
• Parts requirements established.
• Manpower requirements understood.
• Vehicle completed in a timely manor and in time for collection/delivery.
• Any delays relayed to LCC in line with requirements.
• Inspection sheets reviewed for wearing parts and parts ordered in time for next inspection
• Regular maintenance meetings weekly/monthly (as required).
